I have a soft spot for these big Japanese cruisers. Screw driving dynamics, it was all about wafting. With the Nissan Cedric and Gloria dead, the only true Japanese big sedan is the Crown. Okay, so the Fuga (second gen M45) looked good but I always thought the CedGlo twins had that better sense of occasion to them. Sure they were taxicabs and cop cars too but for some reason, they have a distinct appeal which the Fuga/M45 will never have. Perhaps the love for a big RWD cruiser will never die for me. Sadly, most markets disagree now.

What is the year? It looks like a Q 45 trying to be a Jaguar.

Early nineties I think, but it looked pretty much the same from 1990 to 2002 or something. And yeah, it DOES look like a jaguar, or rather a Daimler..
